Two Trinity Christian baseball players have been named to the War Eagle all-conference baseball team as released by the conference Monday, July 31.
Players named to the team were Andrew DeBoer and Ethan Van Bemmel. DeBoer was picked to the second team after leading the Tigers on the mound with 61-1/3 innings pitched, a 2.51 ERA, 58 strikeouts compared to 18 walks and an opponents’ batting average against of .214. DeBoer was also one of the top hitters for Trinity Christian with a .283 batting average, seven RBIs and 11 runs scored.
The final Tiger named to the all-conference team was Ethan Van Bemmel. Van Bemmel was named as an honorable mention player after hitting .288 with one double, 18 runs and five RBIs this past summer.
