There was a lot of excitement and fun by many area children at the July Late Night Swim at Hull Swimming pool Thursday evening, July 26. The Foreign Candy Company Inc. sponsored the event.

Ten surprise gifts caused lots of anticipation and a frenzy of cheering. Ten children were able to open the surprise gifts. There were also two other top prizes awarded. Children’s names were chosen from a hat. The winners of the prizes were Gage Van Roekel, grand prize surprise gift $50 bill, and Maelyn Woelber, magninficent surprise gift $20 bill.

The Foreign Candy Co. also recognized the lifeguards who work extra hard all summer long to manage the pool to give many children in the area so much fun and exercise all summer. Each lifeguard received a Toblerone bar as a thank you gift.
