Even though the Hull Historical Society couldn’t raise enough money to move and remodel the 100-year-old Reimann house, members haven’t given up

Hull Cenex gas station and convenience store hosted a grand opening promotion Tuesday, Oct. 6, introducing new blender pumps that were recently installed. From 10 a.m.-2 p.m. customers were able to take advantage savings on E15, a renewable fuel.

Excitement was in the air at the fourth annual Night of Hope Thursday evening in Hull. Once again, attendance was excellent as women from the area came together to support cancer victims and survivors and to raise money for the cause.

A ribbon of pink wove through the streets of Hull Tuesday, Oct. 6. Over 190 students from Hull Christian School made up most of the ribbon, but many people from the community also joined the kids as they walked the distance.

Te Slaa Trucking was presented a prestigious award Wednesday, which they received from the warehouse/transportation distribution center of Hy-Vee. Dave Te Slaa and some of his crew were excited to accept the award.

Randy Ten Pas, Hull Christian School principal, did some “jail-time” this past week. Ten Pas spent the time in jail as a way to raise funds for the school. He even dressed to match the sentence!
