Beverly DeVries, 78, of Pipestone, Minnesota, passed away Monday, Oct. 5, 2020, at Good Samaritan Communities of Pipestone.
Graveside services were Thursday, Oct. 8, at New Woodlawn Cemetery, Pipestone.
Beverly Ann Plasier was born Aug. 11, 1942, in Orange City, Iowa, to Burnett and Angeline Plasier. She grew up in Hull, Iowa, where she attended Hull High School and graduated from Boyden-Hull High School in 1960. She attended Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa.
On Aug. 2, 1961, she married Glenn DeVries. They made their home in Orange City, Alton and Hartley, Iowa. She was a bookkeeper for a local drug store. In 1986, the couple moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where, she was employed by a legal firm. In 2006, they retired and relocated to Pipestone.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Twila Forbes of Centennial, Colorado, and Toni (Keith) Vreeman of Edgerton, Minnesota; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Conrad (Barbara) Plasier of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Francene Grover of Spencer, Iowa, and sister-in-law, Audrey Matthews, Sioux Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, one sister-in-law and three brothers-in-law.
