Wilma Ida Koedam, 93, of Hull, Iowa, passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, at Hegg Health Center in Rock Valley, Iowa.
Funeral service was Tuesday, Jan. 5, at American Reformed Church, Hull, with interment in in Valley View Cemetery, Rock Valley.
Wilma Ida Burgers was born June 16, 1927, near Larchwood, Iowa, daughter of George and Wilma (Zeilstra) Burgers. She attended country school and and stayed home to help her mother.
On Jan. 2, 1947, she married married James Koedam They lived and farmed near Doon, Iowa, before moving into Doon in 1972. The couple moved to Aspen Heights in Hull June 16, 2016. She moved to Whispering Heights in Rock Valley Dec. 22, 2020.
Survivors include four children, James M. (Nina) Koedam and Gary (Lorna) Koedam, all of Doon, Marsha (Dennis) Kelderman of Hull, and Rhonda (Glenn) Postma of Doon; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Grace Boeve of Luverne, Minnesota; sisters-in-law, Marge Burgers of Inwood, Iowa, and Nina Koedam of Rock Valley; and brother-in-law, Bill (Everdena) Koedam of Rock Rapids, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Wanda Jean; a grandson; great-grandson, three brothers, five sisters and numerous in-laws.
