Show Choir busy with many competitions
The Boyden-Hull Show Choir just finished its final competition for the 2015-2016 school year. The group participates in four competitions each year. Singers are also anticipating and practicing very hard for their final performance, the Swing Show!
Chicago Trip was great experience
Excitement mounted as 65 Boyden-Hull High Schoolstudents and eight chaperones boarded chartered buses March 16 for a once-in-a-lifetime trip. They left shortly after 7 that morning for the nearly 13-hour trip. Chaperones were six parent volunteers, along with Kim Godtland, high school vocal teacher, and Virginia Eulberg, high school band teacher.

A rare grand piano gifted to Hull Historical Society
The Hull Historical Society was recently gifted a rare square grand piano. The previous owners, Gene and Adri Ruisch from Le Mars, were downsizing and decided to give up the prized instrument. The value of the piano is estimated to be around $28,000 in its current condition.
Expo, pancake supper slated for March 30
The second annual Business & Industry Expo is slated for March 30 from 3-8 p.m. in the Hull Community Building. The event is sponsored by Hull Area Chamber of Commerce and was a great success last year.
