Mitchell Diekevers has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

LEMARS-It has been a long process for Trinity Christian in building a boys’ golf program, but the Tigers were rewarded for their hard work Tuesday, April 18, earning them the first War Eagle Conference dual victory in school history.

HINTON-After a long Easter break, the Trinity Christian girls’ track and field team was ready to get back into competitive action at the Hinton Blackhawk relays Tuesday, April 18.

ORANGE CITY-The weather for Siouxland Conference boys’ golf at Landsmeer Golf and Country Club Thursday was not as good as it has been, but Boyden-Hull played enough consistent golf to manage a second-place team finish in the meet and remain in the hunt for the conference crown.

HULL-The Western Christian girls’ golf team came up a few strokes short in a Lakes Conference dual with LeMars at Rolling Hills Country Club Tuesday, April 18, but the Wolfpack feel confident about how their individual play continues to improve.

HAWARDEN-It was the first time since the practice meet April 3 that the Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley girls’ and boys’ track teams were able to field a full squad and the Nighthawks showed off what their team could be capable of at the West Sioux Falcon Relays Thursday.

ROCK VALLEY-After having trouble in Sheldon a week ago, Boyden-Hull’s Brialle Koerselman had a much better time for Siouxland Conference girls’ golf at Rock Valley Golf and Country Club Thursday.

ORANGE CITY-For most if its 45-year history, the Knight Relays have been cold and rainy.

HAWARDEN-Once again Western Christian took its time getting into the flow of the game and eventually found itself down 1-0 late against West Sioux.

HAWARDEN-It was 13 days to the date since the Western Christian girls played its last competitive soccer game due to rain and Easter break, but the Wolfpack showed little rust in a 6-1 nonconference girls’ soccer victory over West Sioux Tuesday, April 18.

HULL-When the final team scores were counted after a War Eagle Conference boys’ golf dual with Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Thursday, Trinity Christian found itself on the short end once again.

ROCK RAPIDS-The Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley girls’ and boys’ track teams had another year at the Central Lyon relays where it had kids missing due to state FFA but once again the Nighthawks’ depth came through Tuesday, April 11.
