Cenex station hosts grand opening
Hull Cenex gas station and convenience store hosted a grand opening promotion Tuesday, Oct. 6, introducing new blender pumps that were recently installed. From 10 a.m.-2 p.m. customers were able to take advantage savings on E15, a renewable fuel.
Night of Hope celebrated
Excitement was in the air at the fourth annual Night of Hope Thursday evening in Hull. Once again, attendance was excellent as women from the area came together to support cancer victims and survivors and to raise money for the cause.
Hull Streets become ribbon of pink

Driver challenges students to put down cell phones
On Tuesday, Sept. 22, Chris Weber spoke at assemblies at Western Christian and Boyden-Hull. Weber was the driver of a vehicle that stuck and killed 33-year-old Andrea Boeve on June 30, 2014, on a Minnesota highway. She was riding her bicycle with her two children towed behind in a bike trailer.
Ground broken for new affordable housing
There were a lot of smiles at the groundbreaking ceremony for Goldfinch Grove affordable family housing last week. The ceremony marked the culmination of months of work done by members of the community.
Good practice
A major accident involving a school bus and a propane truck was good practice for Hull fire and EMT departments. The mock accident took place at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, on the corner of Main Street and Industrial Road on the south edge of Hull.
