Riley Francis earns GPAC conference honors

ORANGE CITY-Former Boyden-Hull basketball player Riley Francis was named to the Great Plains Athletic All-Conference team as voted on by GPAC coaches last Wednesday.

Francis was an honorable mention selection as a junior guard for the Northwestern College Red Raiders. Prior to the NAIA tournament in Branson, Missouri, Francis was averaging 9.1 points per game with 21 assists, 12 steals, a 47 percent shooting percentage from the field and a 38 percent shooting mark from the 3-point line in helping the Red Raiders claim the GPAC tournament crown over Briar Cliff University out of Sioux City Tuesday, Feb. 28.
