Norman Tiedemann, 83, of Hull, Iowa, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018, at Pleasant Acres Care Center, Hull.
Memorial service was Friday, June 15, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, rural Hull, with interment in the church cemetery.
Norman Harold Henry Tiedemann was born Jan. 5, 1935, at Hull, the son of Alfred and Katharina (Breuer) Tiedemann. He was raised at Hull where he attended a country school and Hull High School.
On Feb. 18, 1960, he married Albertha Spykerboer. The couple farmed near Hull. In the 1980s, he was a dealer for Farmer’s Hybrid Boar Power.
On June 12, 1987, he married Betty J. Cheshier. They continued to farm near Hull.
Survivors include his wife; four children, Nancy (Kevin) Jansen of Orange City, Iowa, Beth (Russ) Zomer of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Richard Tiedemann of Hull and Lois (Didier) Koffi of Minneapolis, Minnesota; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Mary (Loren) Reyelts of Hull, and two stepchildren, Cathryn (Keith) Bjorklund of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, and John Cheshier of San Diego, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, an infant and Alvin Tiedemann; and two sisters-in-law, Gayla Tiedemann and Donna Tiedemann.
