Jurrens was raised near Hartford, South Dakota, and graduated from Tri-Valley High School in Colton, South Dakota. After graduating high school, she got married and started a family in Rock Rapids. Her family includes her husband, Brandon, and children, Cameron “CJ,” 9, and Lily, who will be 7 in August.
