A “Drive for Your Student” event was held Saturday, May 12, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Boyden-Hull High School. VerHoef Automotive of Sioux Center partnered with school in the fundraiser. Community members were encouraged to test-drive a new car. The more people who test-drove, the more money the school earned. Buick donated $20 to the school for each test drive. The event was successful as over 400 people took test drives to earn the school $8,380.
