    Wolfpack girls claim a district championship

    SIOUX CENTER-The Western Christian girls’ track and field team took home back-to-back district titles following the Class 2A state-qualifying meet in Sioux Center Thursday.

    Tigers send two to the state meet

    HAWARDEN-The Trinity Christian girls’ and boys’ track team has seen steady improvement in its athletes throughout the season. Two of them were rewarded for their improvements with a state berth following the Class 1A state-qualifying meet in Hawarden Friday.

    ORANGE CITY-There was no score at the end of the first half, but that didn’t stop the Western Christian Wolfpack girls from rallying to score three times in the second half for a 3-0 win over Unity Christian Monday, May 8.

  • Boyden-Hull 3-on-3 basketball to be held

    The Boyden-Hull 3-on-3 basketball tournament will be Saturday, April 9, at Boyden-Hull High School. There will be four divisions to sign up for: fourth and fifth grade, sixth and seventh grade, eighth through 10th grade and 11th grade to adult.

    A rare grand piano gifted to Hull Historical Society

    The Hull Historical Society was recently gifted a rare square grand piano. The previous owners, Gene and Adri Ruisch from Le Mars, were downsizing and decided to give up the prized instrument. The value of the piano is estimated to be around $28,000 in its current condition.

    Taylor Miedema chosen to play in the Shrine Bowl By Nathan Broek | Western Christian senior Taylor Miedema was selected to participate in the 2016 Iowa Shrine Bowl in July.
    Miedema was the second-leading scorer for the Wolfpack this past season with 42 catches for 618 yards and six touchdowns


    Collegiate players earn Scholar Athlete recognition
